Dubai International Property Show 2016

Downtown international and Tayor Wimpey took part in the 2016 International Property Show (IPS). The IPS show is one of the biggest international property shows in the Middle East and exhibits developers all over the world. The Downtown stand showcased Paddington Exchange and Onyx projects both located in central London. Both projects proved very popular with the exhibition visitors with the main interest from GCC buyers looking for investment purchases in London

King\'s Cross Launch, Saudi

Downtown international launched the newest project from Regal Homes, Kingscross Quarter in Saudi Arabia. The launch took place in Riyadh and was met with great interest due to its central location within walking distance from Kingscross St Pancras station. Downtown International exhibited a selection of UK projects by GIHL between the 6-7th April 2016. The show case took place in The Emirates Golf Club, Dubai and presented the projects, 8 Red Lion Street, Broadway House and Brooke House.

All three projects are located in London and provide a more affordable option with locations in the outer districts of the city. The newest development was that of 8 Red Lion located in the affluent borough of Richmond Upon Thames. This unique project is a conversion of building that was once a police station and is centrally located in the heat of Richmond.

Dubai and Abu Dhabi: Exclusive Seminar and Dinner

Downtown international, The Berkeley Group and Trowers and Hamlins hosted a forum and dinner in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The VIP dinner event took place in the Etihad and Emirates Towers hotel and was attended by industry experts and existing clients of Downtown International and The Berkeley Group.

During the event speakers from The Berkeley Group and Downtown gave insight into the current UK market conditions, forecasts for up and coming areas of the UK and presented some of the most sought after projects by Berkeley Group.

Youssef Boulous of Trowers and Hamlins gave a talk on tax and inheritance considerations when purchasing property in the UK. His talk included the new changes to stamp duty and non residents statuses.

Kuwait: Exclusive Seminar and Dinner

Downtown International was joined by Deloitte and St George in hosting a dinner for 75 VIP guests in Kuwait. The evening was held at the JW Marriott and was attended by guests who already had UK investments or wish to purchase property there. There were talks given by each company of varying aspects of the UK property market including , tax, market trends and new up and coming locations. Many of the guests were interested in St Georges latest developments and booked follow up meetings to discuss possible second home and investment options.
